Charlie Wade is a forty-year old accounts manager. Born in Oxfordshire, he’s lived on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire for the last eleven years.
He first started writing when he was sixteen – short stories about a group of spies, but they were never finished. He tried again in his mid-twenties – a novel about a silent revolution based in Brighton, part of which later found its way into The Bailout. However, he finally finished his first novel five years ago – The Spy With Eczema, which re-used some of the spy ideas. After toying with another spy book, he started writing crime short stories and switched instead to crime novels.
In total he’s written four novels and over twenty short stories, links to some of these can be found on the Short Stories page. His latest novel, Seven Daze, was published by Caffeine Nights in 2013.
